Roy was born in 1896. He was the son of Ralph St Peter and May McAllister.
On August 18th, 1918 on the 1st day of the Battle of Amiens, he suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg. Gangrene set in and his leg was amputated at the upper thigh. His life was saved following a second infection when the leg was amputated at the hip joint.
Roy (38) married Helen Avis Marion Grant (16) (born on 20 May 1918 in Temperance Vale, Southampton, York, New Brunswick, Canada; daughter of Scovil Neal Grant and Myrtle Edith Ann (Stairs) Grant) on 13 March 1935 in Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick. Their known son was Wilfred Roy St Peter (1938–1938).
He passed away in 1954.
